Distillery bottlings of Dailuiane are few and far between, however we are lucky enough to see a fair few independently bottled drams from this scenic Speyside distillery. This expression, bottled by Douglas Laing & Co, has been drawn from a single refill Hogshead cask, resulting in a slightly lighter profile than we usually see from the distillery. The nose is intensely sweet, full of assorted boiled sweets snd reminiscent of stepping into an old sweet shop. Followed by sweet cereal and grist notes. The palate however is rather spiced, with notes of crystalized ginger and vibrant peppery spice followed on by a creamy cereal sweetness. The finish starts out dry and spicy, before a soothing sweetness takes over and lingers on the palate
