This special release comes to us from the famous Glen Elgin distillery, known as the 'distiller's dram' for it's popularity amongst the professionals. It is a fascinating dram, bottled from a vatting of two parcels of stock each fermented with a distinct strain of yeast.
Each batch has also been matured in distinct casks, Ex-Bodega casks in one case, and refill European oak butts in the other. Only 5352 bottles were produced in total. Expect to see Glen Elgin's signature complex herbal and spicy notes front and centre.
