Ardnamurchan 'AD Sherry Cask Release 2024' 50%

The second release of Ardnamurchan's sherry cask release has been bottled from a parcel of 15 upeated ex-sherry Hogsheads and 10 peated ex Sherry casks. The deep mahogany colour shows these cask's influence, which comes through as awonderful medley of both sweet and savoury tones. The nose bursts with coastal bonfires, salted peanut brittle and ice cream and tangy sun dried tomatoes. The palate opens up with tarred ships rope, smoky bacon and sticky-sweet pork ribs, with hints of old motor oil.
