Benrinnes 'Infrequent Flyers' 2006 / 17 years 56.1%

This expression from Benrinnes distillery is an example of an older style of spirit, when Benrinnes employed a part- triple distillation technique. It has matured for 17 years with a finish in a virgin oak cask.

The nose is very bright and sweet, with aromas of banoffee pie, pineapple sweets and vanilla cheesecake. The palate is again very sweet, with a slight spiciness from the virgin oak cask, notes of ground allspice, brandy snaps and sticky toffee.
