This expression from Blair Athol distillery in Pitlochry has been selected from a single Pedro Ximenez Hogshead by Berry Bro's and Rudd. Matured for a total of 14 years, the deep rich colour hints at the influence of the PX cask. The nose is an abundance of stewed fruits, with a base of malt sweetness and gentle spice The palate is rich and luxurious, unfurling with notes of dates, dark chocolate and hints of sweet nutmeg and cinnamon spice, lingering sweet spiced fruit notes of sherry soaked raisins and spicy oak.
