Caol Ila 'Infrequent Flyers' 2008 / 15 years 51.2%

This expression from Caol Ila distillery has been matured for 15 years, with a secondary maturation in an ex Premier Cru Bordeaux Barrique.

The peat is very prominent and forward on the nose, combining with notes of green tobacco and cooked banana and pineapple. To taste, there are sweet, earthy phenol and herbal notes, dark chocolate and orange, marzipan and a hint of cracked pepper on the finish.
