This expression has been exclusively matured in first fill bourbon casks and shows of Clynelish?s signature waxiness.
The nose is crisp and fresh, with hints of waxiness and a coastal note. Sweetness develops with notes of heather pollen and a light woody and earthy note. Towards the end of the nose, toffee notes develop.
The palate has the characteristic waxy texture as expected, with smooth sweet notes of salted toffee married week with a slight peppery and spicy warmth.
The spiciness develops further on the finish, joining with sweet notes of desiccated coconut.
