Dalmore 'Portwood' 46.5%

This release from Dalmore distillery has been maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and then aged Tawny Port pipes. Notes of red berries, oranges and sticky toffee pudding are found on the nose. These notes develop in to full bodied notes of nectarines, caramel, roasted chestnuts and Java coffee on the palate. to finish rich plums, sultanas, blood oranges and macerated cherries are found on the finish.
