We rarely see whisky from Dalmunach, one of Scotland's newer mega-distilleries, founded in 2015 on the site of the long-demolished Imperial distillery. A very classic light and fruity Speysider, with an abundance of overripe apples, plums and apricots. Vibrant and zesty, a note of lime and papaya twists its way through creamy vanilla and a pleasant hint of chilli-pepper spicyness. Bottled from a selection of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry octaves.
