Deanston 'Infrequent Flyers' 2009 / 13 years 52.5%

This expression from Deanston distillery has been matured for 13 years with a finish in a Marsala Hogshead.

The nose is uplifting and intense, with notes of dark molasses, macaroon bars, almond cake and digestive biscuits. The palate is moorish  and desserty, full of notes of Demerara sugar, treacle makes another appearance, alongside sticky toffee pudding and a wee touch of marzipan.
