This limited bottling from Dingle distillery honours the Celtic celebration of Grianstad an Gheimhridh, or the Winter Solstice.
Matured in ex Bourbon Casks, with a finish in Twany Port casks, there are aromas of blackcurrant jelly, pommengranate, cinnamon toast and warm ginger on the nose, with notes of red berries, dark chocolate and touches of warm cloves and creamy fudge on the palate. The spice mellows on the finish, leaving a lingering sweetness.
