This expression from the lost Dumbarton distillery has been matured for 26 years with a secondary maturation in a ex Pedro Ximenez Puncheon

On the nose there are sweet solventy notes that are typically found in grain whiskies of this age, alongside buttered popcorn, stewed fruits and coconut ice cream. The  palate is incredibly thick, rich and sherried, with notes of dark chocolate, boozy sultanas and raisins, cherries and fresh espresso and slivered almonds
