The latest batch of GlenAllachie's batch strength has hit the shelves. Aged for a minimun of ten years in Pedro Ximinez, Oloroso, red wine and virgin casks and presented at the natural strength of 59.4%.
On the nose there are aromas of rich mocha, GlenAllachie's signature heather honey, cinamon pancakes, poached pears and caramelised sugar. On the palate, there are notes of dark chocolate, toasted honeycomb and molasses, followed by ripe plums, hazelnuts, ginger and red berries.
