Among the rarest whiskies available from Scotland, this special limited edition comes from the long-lost Imperial distillery. Aged for 34 years and chosen from a single barrel, this is one of only 162 bottles produced in the world. At this age, you can expect an intensely fragrant and aromatic nose, with vanilla custard, cardamom spices and a fruity fragrance of peach juice, surrounded by a background of herbs. A delicate yet rich flavour of more vanilla cream joins tones of raspberry and sweetened milk, building to a very syrupy mouthfeel again contrasted by herbs. Imperial distillery was closed in 1998 then demolished in 2013 - this is an exceptional whisky that is part of Scotland's history of long-lost ghost distilleries.
