This single cask expression from Knockdhu distillery has been bottled from a refil Hogshead, and showcases a traditional approach to the lighter side of Speyside expressions. The nose opens with dry nutty notes that become more apparent with time in the glass, alongside notes of green fruits and banana bread fresh out of the oven. The palate is equally complex, with a marriage of fruits, wood spice and more of the distillate forward nuttiness, with a lovely and full mouthfeel. Hints of green tobacco and burts of citrus and honeyed sweetness round out the finish on this stellar Speyside classic.
