Distilled in 1990 at Laphroaig and bottled at 32 years of age at natural cask strength, this is an unmistakable expression of Islay: exquisite and integrated medicinal peat smoke, sea-spray, a lifting fruity and citric quality. At this age, Laphroaig's intensity has mellowed, but its signature earthy, coastal bonfire smokyness remains ever-present.
