Linkwood 'Adelphi' 2009 / 15 years old 54.4%

Distilled in 2009 at the Linkwood distillery, this 15 year old Adelphi selection was bottled from a single re-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead. A rich aroma of freshly varnished furniture opens the nose, with clementine and birch leaf. The palate is fruity and round, with plum and lemon meringue notes on a mouth-coating texture that ends with a woody bitterness that invites another sip of the sweet initial flavours.
