Adelphi's first ever bottling from the Loch Lomond distillery has been chosen from the distillery's 'Inchfad' spirit, which is heavily peated. A cracking combination of sticky fig, date and dark toffee runs through this dram, with an ever-present dense smokyness from the peat. The smoky quality is at times herbal then savoury, with singed honey glazed meats from a BBQ. The finish is nutty then salty and finishing sweetly from the PX sherry cask.
