Lochlea 'Fallow' 3rd Crop 46%

Inspired by the season of Autumn on the farm at Lochlea, this seasonal release has been bottled from a batch of very active first-fill Oloroso Sherry butts, as indicated by the deep colour of the whisky, reminiscent of Ribena. An aroma of baked apples stuffed with dried fruit moves to hints of medjool dates and Manuka honey. There is a malted bread quality, leading to a long finish with wood oils and peppercorns.
