There is much contention to the origins of this peated highland dram, one thing that we can all agree on is that it is a delightful marriage of earthy highland peat and sherry. Matured for at least eighteen years in a combination of ex Bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez casks, this expression from That Boutiquey Whisky Comapny is delightfully complex.
There are notes of delicate highland peat, grilled pineapple, rich chocolate, roasted almonds and dry old oak.
