The Glengyle distillery has been making a traditional Campbeltown style of whisky for over 17 years since its founding by the owners of the Springbank distillery. Produced by the famous Williams & Humbert Bodega in Jerez, Spain, this sherry is made with Fino grapes, offering the quintessential dry and nutty flavour profile. The balanced acidity is carried on a full bodied mouthfeel, best paired with cheese, ham or seafood.

Made with a combination of Pedro Ximenez and Palomino grapes, this sherry starts of with notes of salted and oily nuts, with little acid and slightly sweet. This style of sherry is traditionally served as an aperitif or to accompany pasta dishes.

This sweet, sticky sherry has been made with raisin-dried Pedro Ximenez grapes, it offers notes of raisins, figs and dense Christmas cake and walnuts. This low acidity and residual sugars of 380g/l makes this an ideal dessert wine to be served alongside cheese.

A traditional 'cream' style of sherry, produced combining Palomino and Pedro Ximenez grapes that are made in an Oloroso style. Sweet and raisiny to start with brown sugar flavours drier, nutty elements. Traditionally served neat on ice or as a cool long drink.

Our first ever expression from the White Peak distillery in Derbyshire, this Adelphi selection comes from a single ex-red wine barrique and offers an ecclectic range of flavours.  Adelphi describe a wide variety of flavours from creamy nougat through to vegetable stock and sundried tomatoes. This intriguing flavour continues, with soy sauce and heathery moss, finishing with licorice logs and a touch of Korean BBQ.

Filled from a 19 year old ex-bourbon barrel, this Trinidadian rum has a complex aroma and flavour of old rubber, overripe peach,  dank wet wood, swampy cedar and touches of petrol - a highly desirable note of this style of rum.  On the palate, Adelphi describe notes of powdered citrus juice, tang, blue raspberry, sherbet dip, lemon Italian ice, with Muscavado sugar and intense tropical fruit coming through in the finish.

Distilled in 2016 and filled from a single refill ex-Oloroso sherry butt, this is an Ardmore bursting with character, distinctly reminiscent of a place: an old bothy peat fireplace surrounded by hessian sack, wet bung and old fishing equipment. Buttery and vanilla tones join tart blackberry, pan-fried sausages and smoky cedar.

Made in collaboration with MacLean & Bruce, this two-cask bottling from Adelphi comes from their Ardnamurchan distillery. Filled from first-fill ex-sherry butts, this dram opens with savoury, salty smoked fish note, with balsamic vinegar, struck matches and tangy cheese rind notes from the casks. Rich and oily, the palate carries a leathery, fruity then woody quality, with a musky, mineral edge.

Matured for 15 years in a single refill ex-Oloroso sherry butt, this is a delicate, pretty and fragrant Glen Elgin. A quintessential floral speyside note of orange blossom blooms from the glass, with Turkish rose water, Maraschino cherries and even a note of fresh linen. The palate is vibrant and juicy, with stone fruit pastries, limoncello and freshly sawed woods.

Distilled in 1992 at Longmorn, this single cask offering from Adelphi is a quintessential example of this iconic Speyside whisky. Over the years, we have seen numerous selections from the 1990's from Longmorn, and this is an exemplar of the style. A bounty of syrupy fruits both canned and fresh is surrounded by honey, waxy notes and lashings of apricot, citrus and herbal liqueur notes. There is a fleeting floral note of lavender or violet cream and a nutty macadamia.

The Glengyle distillery has been making a traditional Campbeltown style of whisky for over 17 years since its founding by the owners of the Springbank distillery. The nose and palate are both so distinctly 'Campbeltown' - slightly foosty (dusty old warehouses) and spiced to start, with hints of dried fruit, malt biscuits and a lemon/citric note. Throughout there is a gentle waft of peat smoke from the barley, and a sea-side saltiness that comes and goes. A distinctive style of whisky that is old-fashioned but timeless - an absolutely cracking dram!

A new release under the Enigma series, this cask strength, undisclosed peated Highland single malt has a smoky, savoury start. Notes of bacon-flavoured chips and peaty embers come through before sweeter notes of banana and vanilla custard. A thick and syrupy mouthfeel carries candle smoke and flinty notes, finishing on grated nutmeg.

This undisclosed single malt from Cadenhead's 'Enigma' range has been matured for 16 years in an ex-Manzanilla sherry cask. The nose opens with red cola, sandalwood and notes of old dunnage floor warehouses or a damp cellar. To taste, a burst of bacon crisps, chorizo and salted caramel popcorn. To finish, dark chocolate, tangerines and a mineral quality like pebbles on the beach.

Matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels before a final mature period in ex-Oloroso butts, this Knockdhu is a festive treat with orange marzipan, gingerbread and jammy flavours. Spicy and sweet like a slice of gingerbread, there is a note of cola cubes and milk chocolate - distinctive notes from sherry casks.
